Object dependencies Knowledge that describes the mutual dependencies between objects. This can be the dependency between characteristics and characteristic values, or it can be used to control the selection of BOM lines and routing operations during variant configuration. A separate syntax is available to describe the dependencies, which is maintained in a relationship editor.

Checkbox Selection box, which is activated by clicking the mouse. By activating it, a cross is usually visible in the check box.

CoFE Configuration Frontend

Class The class contains all the characteristics that are required for the unambiguous description of a configurable product.

Characteristic Element to describe the properties of complex products.

Characteristic value The values that specify the product in more detail are defined for each characteristic.

SAP Backend The connected SAP system to which msg.Variant CoFE refers.
