Getting Started
msg.Variant CoFE (Configuration Frontend) is the modern solution for end-to-end, intuitive, and sales-oriented product configuration based on the SAP rules framework. The goal is to configure and visualize complex products that require explanation in such a way that they become easy to understand and experience for both sales teams and customers alike.
The frontend accesses the configuration models directly in the SAP backend. Redundant data storage is completely eliminated - you always work with up-to-date, consistent data. Configuration can be initiated flexibly: either directly from an SAP document or via an external shopping cart function that is then seamlessly transferred into SAP.
msg.Variant CoFE combines the stability and logic of the SAP standard with a modern, intuitive user interface. In addition to the SAP rules framework, product-related content such as images, long texts, or notes can be maintained in the frontend. This creates a holistic product presentation that significantly supports the sales process.
Optionally, msg.Variant CoFE integrates 3D visualizations with live rendering, allowing customers to see their configured product directly. This is complemented by real-time price determination, which provides reliable and transparent pricing information during configuration.
With these functions, msg.Variant CoFE enables an end-to-end, digitalized sales process—from configuration and visualization through to order entry in SAP. Your sales organization benefits from greater reliability, improved user guidance, and a genuine configuration experience for the customer.
